Application for LeaderShape

Delta Sigma Pi is excited to offer the LeaderShape Institute to Delta Sigma Pi collegians June 19-24, 2007. Nine Deltasigs will receive FULL TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS to participate in the national LeaderShape Institute in Allerton, IL (30 miles north of Champaign). The LeaderShape Institute is an intensive, energizing and unique educational experience designed to develop students' ability to lead with integrity. This Institute will be comprised of approximately 50-70 students (9 of which will have Deltasig scholarships) from all over the
U.S. with diverse experiences, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, typically in the age range of 18-25.

At the LeaderShape Institute, participants create a "LeaderShape Vision". The objective of these participant projects is to create "extraordinary improvements" on campus, in the community or in Delta Sigma Pi. LeaderShape is most impacting when the participants make a commitment to test and apply the principles and skills they learn through making a difference for others. Thus, not only are you making a six-day commitment to attend LeaderShape, you are making a commitment to improve your Fraternity, university and surrounding

The LeaderShape Institute session at which Delta Sigma Pi brothers will participate is scheduled for June 19-24 at the Allerton Conference Center. There is limited availability in this institute, so apply today!

The normal cost to attend the national LeaderShape Institute is $1,450 per person plus travel. By the generosity of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation, attendees will have their full $1,450 registration paid for the event, and receive at least $200 each for documented travel expenses to and from Allerton. For those Deltasigs accepted to this LeaderShape event, you will need only pay your travel expenses that exceed the travel allotment! The registration fee, paid by the Leadership Foundation, covers accommodations for six-nights at LeaderShape, all meals while at LeaderShape, program materials and supplies, and transportation to and from Champaign, IL airport.

Educational and Leadership Consultants Wanted!

Attention Spring 2007 graduates. Delta Sigma Pi is now accepting applications for the Educational and Leadership Consultant position beginning June 4, 2007.

This entry-level position requries a combination of office skills, verbal presentation skills, and ability to work indepentantly while traveling to chapters across the US. Experience with recruiting and other chapter operations is desired. A college degree and membership in good standing in Delta Sigma Pi is requried.

Position duties include assisting students with all areas of chapter operations including recruiting, pledge education, bylaws, activity programming, CEI, financial management, member motivation and more.
